Prequalification: Refurbishment of the World Bank Country Office Panama City, Panama
TThe World Bank is planning to refurbish its office in Panama. The works comprise internal construction of approximately 1,117.40 sq. mt on the 25th floor (26th elevator floor). The civil works for the different internal spaces include, among others: the construction of masonry walls and lightweight acoustic systems, interior painting, new floor and wall finishes, signage, ceilings, acoustic glass doors and partitions, and fixed carpentry. The scope of work will include electromechanical systems such as: electrical and lighting system (including control), air conditioning system (including precision equipment in IT room) and ventilation, extraction in bathrooms, Fire protection and clean agent systems, plumbing and sanitary fixtures. It also includes security systems such as: fire alarm, access control, intercom and CCTV are also part of the scope; IT Systems, Audio and Video, according to WB requirements.
To qualify for the RFP, Offeror must be in business for at least ten (10) years providing services similar to those required, must demonstrate that over the last 5 years the firm has successfully and continuously been engaged as a General Contractor and must have a permanent office in Panama City, Panama.
Evidence of gross annual revenue of more than USD $6,500,000 per year for the last three years, while performing as General Contractor.
Certification that they have not been involved in any litigation action in the past five years which resulted in damages being awarded to the litigant, based on either failure to perform or poor maintenance.
Interested firms must have, resources, technical capacity, similar experience in term of nature, size and complexity to WBG scope and requirements
